DESIGN NOTE

In Seonheul-ri, a peaceful village on Jeju, surrounded by fragrant citrus trees, you will find Seonheulim. Located where the wind flows, Seonheulim is a space filled with the host's desire to become closer to Jeju's natural surroundings. The blue sky, citrus orchards, and small huts offer a relaxing environment, which permits you to enjoy nature both inside and outside.

Entering Seonheulim along the long stone wall road, the cool space and white, and wood-toned interiors, which were difficult to envision from the outside, leave a lasting impression. Pots and plants are arranged in harmony so that you can experience nature as it is inside the room, adding vitality to the decor. The interior of Seonheulim was designed based on the concept of "flowing space," which consists of movement lines gathering around the living room, a music room, and a dining room, extending the experience of rest throughout the building. Particularly, the dining area is designed so that many people can gather together and enjoy the meal together, while the music room with its classical turntable and the low couch with good sunlight has the effect of creating a relaxing tea moment after the meal.

Let's gather in an outdoor cottage at dusk, talk about small details, and have a cozy time around a blazing warm fire while listening to the firewood crackle. It is my hope that you will feel the time of Seonheul-ri a little slowly without hurrying, as in any day of leisurely Jeju.
