Somewhere

My Own Little Cabin Hidden Somewhere

Styling, Visual Design

DESIGN NOTE

There’s a space in Suseong Valley in Seochon, a time-endured place from the past. When you go past the grey wall, Somewhere will welcome you, with its cabin vibe that you’d see in the deep forest. The house was built in 1950, holding the value of time it has endured. It went through the transition of time, and finally achieved today’s look. Both past the present coexist in this space. Here, you will feel like the time moves differently than the outside world.

Somewhere features both wooden and masonry structures that show the history of the house. Two rooms, one bathroom, shower room, a tea room and a dining room are located along the wooden hall. You can privately rest in your room and get together around the sunset at the dining table. It’s a great place to share a conversation while looking at the small garden. The second floor also features two rooms, a small view of Seochon area and a garden outside the window is a little perk of this room. Each room has a different vibe that will make you feel like being in a different time. Choose your favorite room; this house can accommodate up to 8 people.

Casually look around the space and step outside for Seochon alley. When you slowly walk through the wavy alley, you can see many Hanok style houses, restaurants and cafes. You can experience time travel at Somewhere when you’d like to enjoy a private rest away from the hectic city. A mysterious feeling between the past and present is another bonus at this place.
