DESIGN NOTE

Mangrove, located in Sinseol-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, which reflects the atmosphere of Seoul's New Town, takes the name of plants growing on the coast of tropical regions. The Mangrove is a co-living house that recognizes the value of grateful trees that reduce global warming by virtue of their very existence and serve as a home to various animals and plants in the city center. It aims to create a harmonious residential and community area where various individuals can integrate under a single roof, similar to the mangrove tree.

The Mangrove Sinseol branch is a co-living house for single-person households in the city. It was inspired by the mangrove trees that grow along the coast, providing refuges for fish, turtles, and birds. At Mangrove, where millennial single-person households of different lifestyles reside in harmony, you can experience new inspiration and relaxation. A variety of rooms, artistically designed by Kwang-ho Lee, and supplies prepared by members of the mangrove are available. During your stay, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy multiple public areas in the 20-story building. You can choose from a community room for meetings and conferences, a Flex Room for exercise, a Relax Room for yoga and meditation, a Cinema Room equipped with a beam projector, or a Creator Room for creating content.

Sinseol-dong is an interesting neighborhood that retains the feel of Seoul's first new town. A number of old markets and old restaurants are lined up, giving visitors the opportunity to experience a unique, dynamic atmosphere. A number of subway stations and bus lines intersect within a few minutes, so getting around Seoul's downtown is quick and convenient. The room has a view of the sunset from Bukhan Mountain as well as the night sky of Namsan Mountain. On the 20th floor, there is a rooftop terrace from which to enjoy the sun setting and the night sky. Here's a unique opportunity to experience the co-living house directly at the Mangrove Sinseol, where the values Mangrove pursues are infused throughout the space.
